Remit Plus

   Breckenridge Financial Systems is pleased to offer Audio Tel's Remit Plus software to provide small businesses, utility companies, not for profits and others that have high volume payment processing activities, an automated tumkey solution to improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance customer service.

  Remit Plus is an affordable, tumkey, automated check posting system that provides companies like yours with the ability to capture images of checks and remittance coupons that have been submitted for payment, and credit the payments to your customers' accounts without manual key entry.

  The software with CAR/LAR is loaded to the P.C. and interprets MICR. OCR, Bar Codes and handwritten courtesy and legal amounts, creates electronic or paper deposits, provides a variety of reports, and creates image archive files and A/R upload files. The software also provides archive research capabilities and reports for trouble shooting, analysis and customer support. It can even convert the checks to an ACH transaction so that your deposits can be sent electronically to your bank for faster credit.

  The system reads each document and saves the information (amount, checking  account number, ect) that is needed for further processing. With this technology you will be liberated from the chore of locating and entering data from check and coupons into your current manual billing system.

  After scanning, if the software has a problem reading/matching a check or document it automatically allows the operator to enter the information manually. The confidence level for reading and matching the written line, courtesy line and the amount on the coupon can be set from high to low. The higher it is set the more manual entry of the amount field is required, but the higher the confidence factor in accuracy.

  The Remit Plus system will allow you to control your own process and destiny by managing the timing of your employees.

  The scanner read area for the coupon is adjustable. At any time you make changes to your coupon (i.e. size, layout, ect) the scanner is easily adjusted to meet the requirements for the changes made.

  The Remit Plus search allows for easy and quick search for a document though a variety of different pieces of information: date, account number, batch number, check number, routing number, check amount, etc. This provides quick customer response to customer inquiries and internal information needs.

  Once you have completed a search output can be burned to a CD, converted to a PDF file, E-mailed to your customer or internal associate or printed for hard copy use.

  Another unique function of the search screen is that once an image of the check is found you will also have access to the coupon is associated with that check. You can now view both the check and coupon side by side for enhanced researched capabilities. Again both the coupon and check image can be saved or e-mailed as described above.

  Lock box services are expensive and a hassle. Reduce banking costs associated with your lock box by as much as a factor of 3 to 4 times. Typical lock box service cost of $2,000 for 10,000 items can be reduced to as low as $650 using the Remit Plus system. Remit Plus will also allow you to manage your banking relationship and fee structure separate from the remittance processing and cost structure.

  If you are using an old check transport system to sort and encode your checks, the affordable Remit Plus system can be purchased for less then the cost of your annual maintenance payments on the old transport technology.
